Enjoying nature, the sounds of birds fluttering, the water, the trees, the stories told, and much more are the sensations we will experience in this impressive natural and historical monument during half a day.
The adventure begins from the hotel as we head towards the entrance of Tierra del Fuego National Park via National Route No. 3. Upon entering the park, we'll be enchanted by its landscapes of lenga and guindo trees. We'll walk along an interpretive trail accompanied by our magnificent guides, who are great connoisseurs of the place and its corners. From there, we'll head to Lake Roca – Errazuriz to appreciate its waters and the surrounding forest, which is home to specimens over 300 years old and forms the boundary with Chile. In the vicinity is the Alakush Visitor Center, where we'll visit the interpretation room about the fauna, flora, and zoology of the area, as well as the exhibition about human occupation of the park (including the Yamana people, the first pioneers, and the sawmills). Before continuing our adventure, we'll take some time to relax with wonderful views. After the break, we'll continue connecting trails until we reach the end of National Route No. 3 at Lapataia Bay. Then, we'll make a stop at Ensenada Zaratiegui, where we'll find the southernmost Post Office and explore a short trail that allows us to appreciate the rock formations and the forest descending to the shoreline.
After approximately 4 hours, we'll conclude our adventure with the sensation of having been part of the history and nature of our island.
