We'll start the pick-up at the hotel and head towards the exit of Ushuaia via National Route No. 3. Our first stop will be at the Carbajal Valley Lookout to marvel at the view of a glacial valley where the Olivia River flows. We'll continue the tour and take advantage of the opportunity for a restroom break at the tourist centers in the valleys.
We will then resume our journey along the route, continually marveling at the spectacular views of the Andes Mountains. We will reach the Garibaldi Pass viewpoint, where we will cross the mountain range and arrive at the northern part of the island, where we will first see the scenic Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano. We will begin our descent via an alternative path to start the Off Road adventure towards the shore of Lago Escondido.
Here, we will delve into the Fuegian forest along the paths used by early logging operations to access a circuit only reachable by 4x4 vehicles, which will take us directly to Lago Fagnano. There, we will observe the area's unique features, including the Magellan Fault. We will have lunch at an authentic Fuegian lodge that preserves the spirit of the old sawmill, with a rustic and cozy ambiance. After a relaxing sobremesa and a warm conversation, we will begin our return to the city.
