Our Sustainable Commitment to the Environment

We strongly believe in the need to preserve the natural beauty of our land for future generations.

Our team is committed to sustainable practices in each of our services and experiences, striving to minimize environmental impact and protect the biodiversity of Ushuaia and its surroundings.

A Journey Towards Sustainability

At the end of the world, where landscapes are awe-inspiring, and nature asserts itself with full force, Tierra del Fuego Aventura takes a monumental step towards sustainability. It is not just a promise; it is a profound transformation that connects us with the planet and challenges us to be part of the change.

Where Adventure and Sustainability Meet:

Our Refuge in the Fuegian Forest

100% recyclable,

100% committed

Our Commitment to Nature: a 100% recyclable refuge in the heart of the Fuegian forest.

At Tierra del Fuego Aventura, we believe that exploring the end of the world is also an opportunity to preserve its essence. That’s why we’re proud to present our new sustainable refuge, a 100% recyclable structure crafted from materials recovered from a former local sawmill. This refuge is not only a safe haven for travelers but also a symbol of our mission to conserve the natural beauty of Tierra del Fuego.

Immersed in the vastness of the Fuegian forest, our refuge is born from the very earth that surrounds it, blending harmoniously into the landscape. Each piece of reclaimed wood and each recycled structure carries with it the story of our land and, at the same time, reflects our commitment to a sustainable future.

With this initiative, we invite everyone to be part of an adventure that not only discovers but also respects and protects the environment. At Tierra del Fuego Aventura, nature is our home, and every step we take is with a clear purpose: to care for, preserve, and honor the natural legacy of our region.

Did you know that the greatest threat to our planet’s balance is in the air?

Yes, the increase in Greenhouse Gases (GHGs), like carbon dioxide (CO2), is causing Earth to warm. And at Tierra del Fuego Aventura, we can’t be indifferent to this reality.

Our First Major Step:

Measuring the Impact

Our first major step: measuring the impact

0

Tons of CO2

“You can only change what you know.” Guided by this principle, in 2023, we made a rigorous commitment: to measure the environmental footprint we leave with each step. By 2024, we achieved something even greater: measuring all our emissions! And if you’re wondering where these footprints come from, the answer is clear. As a service company, our greatest impact stems from fuel consumption, resulting in a carbon footprint of 46 tons of CO2.
With every measure, action, and decision, Tierra del Fuego Aventura becomes more than just a destination.
It becomes a pathway towards a greener future. Because the true journey is not only exploring unforgettable landscapes; it’s also protecting them so that future generations can experience the grandeur of Tierra del Fuego.
